1986 Time Woman Of The Year Takes A Final Bow

Former Philippine President Corazon Aquino, named 1986 Time Woman Of The Year for leading the People Power Revolution which ended the decades of Marcos tyranny and restoring back to the Filipino people their freedom and dignity, is dead.

The Philippines was lucky to have had her at crucial time in the country's history. Indeed a woman of essence.

Remembering

We are only just pilgrims in this life. Sooner or later our voyage has to end. Remembering that life is short and death is sure, calls us to sort out our priorities so we would not waste our lives just wandering. It helps us take care of the most important things in life first. We won’t be passing this way again. It would be tragic if we exit life’s door knowing we left very important things undone only because we let the trivial dominate our lives and left the crucial untouched.
